Located along the northern limits of provincial Buenos Aires, Santa Fe is a vast province rich in cultural heritage. Salado River divides Santa Fe in half while the famed Paraná River creates a natural border to the east. The capital (Santa Fe) is a bustling center, but Rosario is still the most popular hub of the province (and third largest city nationwide).

Located in the heart of Argentina’s industrial corridor, Rosario is distinguished for its neoclassical architecture evident in hundreds of homes and public buildings. Home to a major railroad station and shipping center, Rosario is known for exporting valuable wheat, flour, linseed, meat, and wool. The Rosario-Victoria Bridge (opened in 2004) reaches across the Paraná Delta into Entre Rios, spanning 7.5 miles in total length bridges and viaducts. Rosario is host to the National Flag Memorial which was inaugurated in 1957 to commemorate Manuel Belgrano’s first raising of the Argentine flag on the opposite shore in 1812. Costa Alta and Embarcadero Resorts provide romantic walks at sunset, while Parque Independencia and La Florida Beach are ideal for horseback riding and canoeing. Pubs and clubs keep the nightlife alive and well. Across the province of Santa Fe, travelers will find numerous spots for spectacular hunting and fishing.
